(More customer reviews)I'm delighted with these two platters.They are white with a slightly creamy tone to their color.The photo accurately depicts their shape.(My main dishes are Crate & Barrel Cafe-Ware -- their white has a hint of gray -- these slightly different shades won't be noticed.Plus, they'll be covered in food!)
The larger of the two measures 10 1/4" across in width (13 1/2" in length as described).Inside the rimmed area, the dimensions are roughly 10" x 7 1/4".
The smaller one measures 8 1/4" across in width (11 5/8" in length).Inside its rimmed area:8 1/2" x 5 1/4".
It doesn't say on the bottom of the platters, but the Amazon description says they are microwave-safe and lead-free.Of course, they are also dishwasher safe -- they have a strong shiny glaze and a nice heft.
I expect to enjoy years of steady use with these.
